On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva received letters of credence from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Turkmenistan Mr. Ronald Jacobus Petrus Marie van Dartel.
During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the main aspects of domestic and foreign policies, in particular the implementation of the economic, social and legislative reforms aimed for the benefit and progress of the country.
Focusing on the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various areas, Mr. van Dartel said that he as the plenipotentiary representative of his country in Turkmenistan intended to contribute to fostering the inter-state dialogue, including at the parliamentary level.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Turkmenistan Mr. van Dartel was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Talks focused at the approaches to furthering bilateral relations.
The Ambassador and the delegation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will hold a series of meetings at the Government of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan in the coming days.
