President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference meeting with Vice Premiers, and the khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat.
The meeting agenda focused on the progress of the socio-economic development in the regions, the progress in implementing the seasonal agricultural campaigns as well as the existing situation in a number of industries.
In particular, it was reported on the paces of the cotton sowing campaign, on the measures taken to struggle against pests, the preparations for the grain harvesting campaign as well as on the progress of construction of the industrial and social facilities.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the existing situation in the Turkmen capital, the progress of construction works, the measures taken to ensure the industrial infrastructure development in the Turkmen capital, modernization of its road system, widen green belts and improve parks, as well as the measures taken to accelerate the construction of the Bereket - Etrek of the North-South international main line.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the plans on planting greenery within the framework of the concept on transforming the country into a blossoming garden. The President considered the projects of a new modern village in Lebap region.
