Focusing with satisfaction on the high level of the Turkmen-Tajik dialogue which fully meets mutual interests and national development priorities, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan exchanged views on various aspects of international cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats , particularly within the international organisations and authoritative regional structures.
Highly evaluating the peaceful policy of Turkmenistan and the important international initiative our country put forward to achieve global security and sustainable development, Sirozhiddin Aslov emphasized keen interest of the Tajik side in deepening and strengthening relations based on the best traditions of centuries-old friendship and mutual respect of the two neighbouring fraternal nations.
Emphasizing the willingness of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to expand long-term fruitful partnership, the Turkmen leader and his guest expressed belief that mutually beneficial cooperation based on the existing tremendous potential and mutual interests had a great future. In this context, emphasis was placed on the importance of intensifying multilevel contacts in all major areas and establishing close scientific, cultural and educational contacts that contribute to spiritual cohesion of the Turkmen and Tajik peoples.
