In the morning the Turkmen leader drove to the intersection of Kopetdag Avenue and Andalib Street, where the majestic horse statue was erected. The Chairperson of the Mejlis, the cabinet ministers, the heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, the khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat greeted the Turkmen at the venue. Among the ceremony participants were the ambassadors of foreign states in Turkmenistan, notable horse breeders of our country, the delegates of the international forums on horse breeding, which had been held recently in the Turkmen capital, the representatives of public organisations and young citizens of Ashgabat.

Balloons soared into sky in the neighbourhood at the same time. The fascinating creative idea gave a magical effect to the ceremony - everyone was under impression that the huge heap clouds cleared, and the horse came out from behind the clouds as if it were dashing on the sky.

The Vice Premiers, the heads of the Mejlis, military and law enforcement agencies, the khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat, diplomatic missions accredited in our country, ministries and departments, public organisations, the elders, young citizens, the representatives of the Turkmen and foreign mass media and numerous horse racing fans greeted the Turkmen leader there.
The horse races with the participation of senior jockeys-trainers were held there in the framework of the Turkmen Horse Day celebrations. Seven horses, which would take part in the competitions, their owners, trainers and jockeys, were announced.
