The distinguished guest headed from the airport to the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries where he visited the workshops of the flagship of Turkmenistan’s petrochemical industry.
When visiting Turkmenbashi oil refineries, the President of Croatia highly evaluated the technological level of the enterprises, emphasizing the undisputed leadership of Turkmenistan in many spheres of the energy sector. Thanking for the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the oil refining giant, President Ivo Josipovic emphasized that ample opportunities to build up fruitful partnerships in mutual interests existed today.
The Croatian leader headed for the Turkmenbashi international seaport, where he could see the progress in modernization and technical re-equipment of industrial facilities and the development prospects of the ‘sea gates’ of Central Asia.
In the afternoon, the presentation of the Avaza national tourism zone – a world-class seaside resort being built on the Caspian seashore – was held for the distinguished guest at Nebitci Hotel in Avaza.
The presentation highlighted the aspects of the investment policy of Turkmenistan and national laws which particularly provide substantial tax, customs, visa and other benefits for investors, firms and companies operating in Avaza.
