President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting agenda focused on the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies for four months of the current year to achieve the objectives, in particular to strengthen their material and technical basis.

The meeting participants reported to the Turkmen leader on the current situation at all the subdivisions of the military and law enforcement agencies, the improvement of activities of which is one of the key development priorities.

Commenting on the reports, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dwelt on a number of important aspects of work of the military and law enforcement agencies, noting that the heads and specialists of these agencies were to perform the important mission – to set an example of high professionalism, diligence, fidelity to sacred military duty and devotion to the country.

The President signed the Resolutions on the appointment and dismissal of prosecutors. Other issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the meeting.
