President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider the important issue of the state policy life.
Vice Premiers presented their reports. The Turkmen leader was informed on the work done to introduce the positions of Khyakim Deputies on Construction in Etrap and Velayat Khyakimliks due to the necessity of transferring construction organisations and enterprises, which were affiliated to the ministry of Construction of Turkmenistan, under the supervision of Ashgabat and Velayat Khyakimliks.
It was also reported on the results of the analysis of the proposal on unifying the scientific Institutions of the Academy of Science of Turkmenistan and making free positions available at the newly established Centre of Technologies.
The report on the preparations for the forthcoming state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China was presented during the meeting.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the progress in implementing the Plan of jubilee events in honour of the 290th birthdate anniversary of great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi and the preparations for the festive events on occasion of the Day f Revival, Unity and Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.
It was also reported on the existing situation in various sectors of the fuel and energy complex of the country as well as the preparations for implementation of large-scale investment projects.
Vice Premiers reported on the outcomes of the international tender for construction of a cultural and memorial complex in honour of Magtymguly Fragi and museum in Magtymguly strap, Balkan Velayat.
It was reported on the progress of work done to deliver nonmetallic materials to construction sites under the supervision of the Ministry of Railroad Transport of Turkmenistan.
It was also reported on the measures taken to improve the system of managing trade complex, introduce new efficient forms of its work, widen of range of trade services and assortment of goods as well as increase the quality of services rendered to customers.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the progress in implementing the educational reform, brining the national scientific school up to a new level, strengthening and modernizing the material and technological basis of the healthcare and sport institutions, developing tourism in the country.
It was reported on the progress of construction of various facilities and improvement of the Turkmen capital, creation of parks and increase of the social and living standards among the local population.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the progress of implementation of the seasonal agricultural campaigns.
It was also reported on the progress of works at the important infrastructural facilities and buildings under construction in Turkmenabat, Lebap Velayat.
Commenting on the reports, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that putting new railway bridge across the Amu Darya River and new airport into operation will literally and symbolically open a wide road to the large-scale development of huge natural resources of the region. Focusing on the issues of implementing the Concept of development of the electric power industry of Turkmenistan in 2013-2020, the President underlined the necessity to continue the work in this area.
Other domestic policy issues were considered during the government meeting and the decisions were adopted.
