On behalf and the instructions of the leadership of the People’s Republic of China the officials of the friendly country cordially and heartily greeted the leader of Turkmenistan at Beijing International Airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
The members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan and Turkmen young people, who study at higher educational institutions in China, cordially greeted the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the airport.
The President of Turkmenistan warmly greeted those present. Then the motorcade of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed for his residence at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse during the state visit to China.

Participants in bilateral meetings, including the cabinet ministers, the heads of ministries and departments, the representatives of government agencies and businesses of Turkmenistan and China, discusses key aspects of interstate cooperation in the context of the sectoral action plans and the programmes of Turkmen-Chinese partnership.
On the Turkmen leader’s instructions, the members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan held meetings with Turkmen students of higher educational institutions in China. Today, over a hundred of Turkmen young citizens study at universities in China, including the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, China University of Petroleum in Beijing, the Tongji University in Shanghai, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing Normal University, Nanfang Medical University and Guangzhou University, among others.
