President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the top managers of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) in the framework of the state visit to the People’s Republic of China.

The Turkmen leader and the top managers of CASIC discussed possibilities for cooperation in a number of spheres, including in the space industry.

Detailed information on the activities of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the biggest state-owned corporation with the solid scientific research and development base, was presented to the leader of Turkmenistan during the meeting.

A video film about the latest innovative developments and achievements of CASIC that conducts aerospace research as well as provides services in many other areas of economic and social development was demonstrated during the presentation. The Turkmen leader visited an exhibition that gave a clear idea of the major areas of activity of the corporation.

“Our country is keenly interested in establishing closest business partnership with leading companies of the world, which certainly include CASIC,” President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, focusing on Turkmenistan’s readiness to thoroughly consider all the proposals for cooperation.
