The President of Turkmenistan received the Minister of Culture of Republic of Armenia Asmik Pogosyan, who arrived in the capital for participation in the solemnities on the occasion of nationwide holiday – Day of Revival, Unity and Poetry of Magtymguly Phragy as well as the International scientific conference “Magtymguly Phragy and universal cultural values”.

Main topic of the talk became development of the Turkmen-Armenian cooperation in cultural and humanitarian sphere, which foundation is the cultural and historical community of people of Turkmenistan and Armenia, tracing back to centuries. Emphasizing importance of further activization of cultural exchange and scientific contacts with a view of study of historic-cultural heritage of the Turkmen and Armenian nations, it was expressed mutual interest in holding on regular basis of the international forums with participation of scientists and specialists of two countries.
