President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Geokdere to see the progress of preparations for summer holidays in children’s health-improving centers, the progress of construction of a new horse breeding complex, and visited the International Equestrian Sports Complex.
The Turkmen leader considered the conditions created in the Altyn Ýyldyz children’s recreation centre designed for 1,000 places. The President of Turkmenistan visited the buildings with light rooms with comfortable furniture.
Considering the sport facilities in the complex, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to organize interesting events, competitions, concerts, cultural arrangements there.
The Turkmen leader also considered the progress of construction of a new horse breeding complex with a settlement for its workers in Geokdere, Geoktepe Etrap, Ahal Velayat. The President gave a number of specific instructions to the relevant officials. The President also noted that the high quality of construction work and adherence to construction schedule should remain the major requirements to all construction projects.
Then, the President of Turkmenistan visited the International Equestrian sports Complex located in the picturesque valley in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains.
The Turkmen leader provided a number of comments regarding the quality of race tracks and instructed the relevant officials to continue works on modernization of race tracks at the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex and hippodromes in the regions.
Riding a horse along a new race track, the Turkmen leader expressed satisfaction with its quality.
The Turkmen leader also visited the Keyyik Restaurant located in Geokdere. The President of Turkmenistan spoke with people working there and asked them about services offered to the restaurant’s guests, the menu and technique of cooking some dishes.

The President also instructed the relevant officials to accelerate the paces of development of a project of a new recreation complex to be constructed in the southern part of the Turkmen capital, between the Monument of Constitution and Alem Cultural and Entertainment Centre.
The Turkmen leader underlined the significance of creating favorable conditions for recreation for local citizens, in particular construction of new modern facilities in Geokdere and the Avaza national tourism zone.
