President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference with cabinet ministers, Khyakims of the regions and the Turkmen capital. The meeting agenda focused on the progress in implementing the programmes aimed at further dynamic industrial, social and economic development of the country as well as other priority aspects of life of the state and society.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the progress of construction of a carbamide production plant with the annual capacity of 1,155 million tons.
Approving and signing the Resolution “On providing consultative services and technical control over the design and construction of a carbamide production plant”, the Turkmen leader underlined that today Turkmenistan paid particular attention to the complex development and modernization of the industrial sphere and emphasized the necessity of further improvement of its work to achieve the required high quality.
The President signed the documents on financing the construction of the gas-chemical complex on production of polyethylene and polypropylene in Balkan Velayat.
The Turkmen leader was also informed on the measures taken to launch construction of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port. As was reported GAP Inşaat had won the tender for design and construction of the complex.
The Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials to ensure the high quality of construction works using the state-of-the-art high-efficiency technologies.
The reports on the existing situation in various sectors of the fuel and energy sectors, in particular the progress in implementing the programme on development of the due and energy industry in many directions, and ensuring the reliable and sustainable export of energy resources were presented during the meeting.
Velayat Khyakims reported on the existing situation in the regions, on the fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions on increasing the efficiency of the forthcoming harvesting campaign and silk cocoons. Moreover, Velayat Khyakims reported on the preparations for the International Children’s Day and informed the Turkmen leader on the progress of construction works in the regions.
Commenting on the reports, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Velayat Khyakimliks to take the work and further development of all municipal services as well as improvement of cities under the rigorous control. The Turkmen leader also underlined the necessity to take all necessary measures to organize the cultural events on occasion of the International Children’s Day at the high level.
The President also instructed to ensure that the quality of construction works and adherence to construction schedule were kept under strict control. The Turkmen leader demanded the relevant officials to take control over the preparations for the summer season and observe the rules of fire control and safety.
