President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated young citizens of Turkmenistan and all compatriots on the International Children’s Day.
“The main task set to the state and society is to ensure happy life for children, give them strong education and cultivate in children love for the Motherland and the best human qualities”, said the President of Turkmenistan in his address.
“Bringing physically and spiritually healthy, well-educated and dedicated generation is an important component of dynamic development of Turkmenistan”, said the President of Turkmenistan. “Therefore we pay particular attention to guaranteeing happy life to younger generation, protecting the interests of children and tireless concern about them. Turkmenistan implements a number of national programmes with the aim to ensure the comprehensive and harmonious development of children, bring them following the national and universal spiritual values”.
“At birth, the state provides aid and benefits to mothers. Construction of modern kindergartens, secondary schools, sports facilities, children's recreation and entertainment centres in Ashgabat, administrative centres of the regions, districts and villages, in Geokdere and Avaza National tourist zone on the Caspian coast - all these are the results of the large-scale work implemented in the country with the aim to ensure a happy life for the young citizens of Turkmenistan. We will continue to pursue our policy in the sphere of childhood based on the standards of international law and humane national traditions.
Being a full member of the largest and most authoritative international organization - the United Nations Organization, Turkmenistan has taken successful steps in important areas to integrate into the system of international relations. In order to ensure the wellbeing of the young generation, to protect the rights and interests of children Turkmenistan cooperates with the UN Children's Fund. Turkmenistan's adherence to a number of key international instruments reflects our extremely responsible approach to creating the high social and living conditions for the younger generation. These steps prove the readiness of our country to the wide international cooperation not only within the national interest but also in the interests of the world community”, summed up the President of Turkmenistan .
