President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a videoconference with participation of Vice Premiers, Khyakims of regions and the Turkmen capital. The meeting agenda focused on the progress in implementing the national programmes on the social and economic development.
The Turkmen leader was informed on the measures taken to hold the seasonal agricultural campaigns at the high organizational level, and create all necessary conditions to increase the efficiency of work of agricultural workers.
It was also reported on the progress in developing the industrial infrastructure in the regions, building new facilities, and creating favorable conditions for children’s summer holidays in the Avaza National tourism zone and in regions as well.
The President was informed on the progress in implementing the plans on the architectural and infrastructural development of the Turkmen capital as well as the programme of events on occasion of the World Environment Day.
Focusing on the important tasks of the social and economic development of Balkan Velayat, the Turkmen leader underlined that the increase of production capacities of the region, improvement of the social and living conditions depended on well-thought solution of system issues related to implementation of the huge potential of the littoral region.
The President congratulated the Lebap Velayat Khyakim and silkworm breeders of the region on fulfillment of the plan on cocoon production.
Speaking about the summer season, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demanded the relevant officials to create all necessary conditions for holiday-makers at children’s recreation centres in Avaza and all regions of the country.
