Within the framework of IV Summit of the heads of Council of cooperation of Turkic countries, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with President of Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In the course of the talk, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Nursultan Nazarbayev exchanged views on the substance of issues included into agenda of summit.
Having declared for expansion of partnership on whole spectrum of its trends, the leaders of two countries discussed several aspects of international and regional policy, which are of mutual interest, possibilities of further diversification of multi-aspect interstate interaction, being established on bilateral and multilateral basis, first of all in the format of the largest authoritative organizations and structures.
Having accentuated the attention on advancement of earlier reached agreements as well as significant joint projects in such strategic spheres as power engineering and transport, the heads of states noted with satisfaction the importance of realization of unprecedented construction project of Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline.
Another example of composition of efforts with a view of strengthening of bases of peace and welfare in the region and entire Eurasian space the interlocutors called the successfully realized project of railway Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran, promising economic benefit not only for its direct participants but all countries of the region as well.
Having declared for expansion of mutually beneficial contacts in trade-economic sphere, the interlocutors also noted the importance of strengthening of traditional humanitarian ties as integral part of bilateral partnership.
