The Vice Premiers presented the reports on the measures taken to optimize the activities of the State Tax Service and create the e-tax system in order to collect the data on taxpayers and operations they carry out via the Internet and telecommunication channels within the country.
The information on the preparations for an official visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to our country scheduled for June 9-11 and the high-level international meeting on statelessness to be held in Ashgabat jointly with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Organization for Migration was presented.
The report on the measures taken to ensure that international sporting events would be broadcast on Turkmenistan Sport TV channel of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography was presented so that numerous Turkmen football fans would watch live matches in the World Cup, which will be held from June 12 to July 13 in Brazil.

The information on the preparations for the exhibition of the building materials industry of the Republic of Turkey, which will be held in Ashgabat on June 19-21, and the International Conference "Science, Technology and Innovations in the Epoch of Might and Happiness" was presented.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of March 2012, the Ashgabat Khyakimlik signed a supplementary agreement with the Ukrainian Interbudmontazh Construction Association on construction work. The drainage and communication tunnel 6 metres in diameter is currently under construction in the north of the capital. Wastewater treatment facilities, construction mud flow drainage system, power plants and other objects are currently construction. It was reported that the Interbudmontazh Association had developed the proposal for the design and construction of a drainage and communication tunnel and a number of facilities in the west of Ashgabat.
The report on seasonal agricultural work, including the harvest campaign launched in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayat on June 4, was presented. It was reported that to date over 51,000 tons of grain had been reaped. The mowing campaign is in full swing, agricultural workers are engaged in storing straw and ploughing the fields.
The report on the progress of construction of Bereket-Etrek section of the North-South transnational railway was presented. It was reported that 239 kilometres of the steel road had been built. Transfer and side tracks, dead-end sidings and infrastructure facilities, train stations and apartment houses are being built on the route of the railway. In this context, the report on the progress of construction of one-storey apartment houses, bogie exchange and transfer centre, administrative communication building, locomotive depot, hotels and other ancillary facilities at Etrek railway station was presented.
The President signed the Decree on the Establishment of the Centre for Technology and the Resolutions on the Issues of the Centre for Technology, on the Establishment of the Institute of Biology and Medicinal Plants, on the Establishment of the Institute of Solar Energy, on the Establishment of the Institute of Seismology and Atmosphere Physics. The Resolution on the Purchase of Bogies for the Ministry of Rail Transport of Turkmenistan was signed.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the number of entrants to primary and secondary vocational schools should be increased in the new school year. Also, short-term (for example, six-month) training courses should be conducted at large-scale industrial enterprises.
The Turkmen leader focused on the comprehensive development and modernisation of the communication and telecommunications sector and emphasized the practicability of broadcasting national television programmes via several separate artificial communication satellites.
Other issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the government meeting.
