President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ahal Velayat, where he attended the opening ceremony of a new large-scale livestock complex of Sahabatly economic society of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Derveze Etrap.
The annual production capacity of the new livestock complex is 2,000 tons of milk and dairy products and 30 tons of meat. The new livestock complex created about 100 new jobs.
The President of Turkmenistan and the ceremony participants were invited to taste the products manufactured at the new plant so that they could appreciate their taste and quality.
In the administrative building, a number of new construction projects developed by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to be implemented in Ahal Velayat were presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for consideration. These included the projects of the poultry complex with the annual production capacity of 4,800 tons of turkey meat, and the sheep breeding complex in Geokdepe Etrap with the annual production capacity of 30 tons of meat and 200 tons of sheep and goat milk, the livestock complexes in Derveze Etrap with the annual production capacity of 500 tons of milk and 30 tons of meat and 500 tons of milk and 25 tons of meat, the livestock farms with the annual production capacity of 800 tons of milk and 50 tons of meat, the flour mill with the annual production capacity of 29,000 tons and the macaroni factory in Ak Bugdai Etrap with the annual production capacity of 20,000 tons and the livestock farm in Kaahka Etrap with the annual production capacity of 1,500 tons of milk and 100 tons of meat.
The construction projects to be implemented in Balkan Velayat were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration. These included the projects of the plant producing finishing materials in Balkanabat, four plants producing iodine in the towns of Ekerem and Gamyshlyja in Esenguly Etrap with the annual production capacity of 75 tons each and the preventive care clinic for 100 patients in Garachagyl, which will use the healing properties of radon.
The projects of the building complex of Rysgal Joint Stock Commercial Bank and a shopping centre in Ashgabat, the building complex of the Lebap Velayat department of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the business and shopping centres of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Mary were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
Upon considering the projects, the Turkmen leader noted that Turkmen entrepreneurs increasingly contributed to the implementation of the programmes of comprehensive reforms launched throughout the country, successfully and effectively using their expertise and capacities in industry and agriculture, construction of various facilities and service delivery.
Cordially bidding farewell to the ceremony participants and wishing every success in their work to specialists of the livestock sector and Turkmen entrepreneurs, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left the ceremony venue.
