During a working trip to the administrative centre of the northern region of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of the Dashoguz Sanatorium, which is located in Gurbansoltan Eje Etrap on the territory of N. Andalib Peasant Association.
The Turkmen leader cut the symbolic ribbon and entered the building of the new sanatorium that is designed for 200 places.
There, the President got acquainted with the equipment installed and conditions created in the hydrotherapy department, where patients will be treated with the use of iodine and bromine-containing mineral water as well as the ozone therapy, aroma therapy, diagnostics and manual therapy departments located on the ground floor.
All departments are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment produced by world-known manufacturers, including Siemens, HabHerman, Human (Federal Republic of Germany), Akwamassaž (the USA), BTL (the UK), Fazzini (Italy), Mediprogres (Slovakia).
Speaking with medical spesialists working there, the President asked them about labour conditions created in the sanatorium as wel as the treatment methods used there.
The source of therapeutic iodine-bromine mineral water on the territory of the sanatorium was discovered during drilling hydrogeological expedition carried out by the Southern Karakum group at a depth of 1200 meters. Its temperature is 54 degrees in Celcium, and the flow rate is five litres per second. Its composition includes the following elements: Na + K, Ca, Mg, Hl, SO4, NO2, CO3 + HCO3, H2SiO4, Fe, CO2, Pb, Zn, Cu, As, F, Cr, Mn, Se, Mo, Al , Be, I, B, Br, Ra, U.
Mineral water found on the territory of the sanatorium is widely used to treat osteoarthritis, arthritis, osteoarthritis, sciatica, diseases of peripheral nervous and endocrine systems, as well as polyneuropathy mononeuropathies, etc. Due to the high salinity of water, it is recommended to use it externally mixing with drinking water.
Then the President headed to the second floor where recreation rooms are located. There are Internet cafes, a pharmacy, an amphitheater, sports facilities for playing tennis and billiards, and stores on the second floor.
Addressing representatives of the diplomatic corps working in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen leader emphasized their significant contribution to development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial partnership between our countries and invited them to stay in the Dasoguz Sanatorium to have rest and improve their health. The invitation was accepted with great enthusiasm.
Congratulating all those present on opening of the new sanatrium and wishing those working there every success in performmg their jobs, the President gifted specialised medical vehicles to the Dashoguz Sanatorium.
