President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has visited Balkan Velayat on a working visit, received the Head of the ENI Italian oil and gas company Claudi Descalzi.
The Turkmen leader and the Head of the large oil and gas company underlined that the established business partnership between the ENI Company and the State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan contributed to enhancing long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
It was emphasized that possessing hydrocarbon resources of the world significance, Turkmenistan successfully implemented the programme of modernization of the national fuel and energy complex that envisages establishment of the developed network for exporting Turkmen energy carriers to the world markets, creating the relevant infrastructure, and increasing the volumes of oil and gas production.
Expressing the gratitude for the trust, Claudi Descalzi assured that the ENI Company aimed at the mutually beneficial cooperation with rapidly developing Turkmenistan, would apply maximum efforts to fulfill the agreements achieved earlier.
