President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which the drafts of important documents, the priority aspects of further economic development and key issues of the domestic and foreign policies of the Turkmen state were considered.
The Vice Premiers presented the reports on the work done to engage authoritative consulting companies in conducting expert assessment of projects and the measures taken to optimize the activities of the Main State Tax Service.
The report on the preparations for an official visit of the President of the Republic of Slovenia to our country was presented.
The reports also focused on the progress of the cotton campaign and ongoing agro-technical activities on the cotton fields.
The report on the preparations for the 26th meeting of the Technical Working Group on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Natural Gas Pipeline and 18th meeting of the Steering Committee on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Natural Gas Pipeline, which will take place in Ashgabat on July 6-7 and July 8-18 respectively, was presented. The meeting agendas will focus on the important issues related to the implementation of the TAPI project, including the completed and forthcoming work and the establishment of the consortium TAPI Ltd, the election of its top manager and transit of natural gas, among others. Also, the drafts of important documents, including the extended gas sale agreements and Technical Project Agreement, will be considered during the meetings.
The report on the preparations for the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus, which will take place on July 23-26, was presented.
The information on the measures taken to fulfil the instructions on the prompt delivery of non-metallic building materials to construction sites throughout the country was presented.
The information on the progress of modernization and construction of the highways Turkmenbashi-Farap, Ashgabat-Dashoguz, Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-Kazakhstan border 240 kilometres long, Turkmenabat-Gazachak-Dashoguz and Mary-Serhetabat 541 and 330 kilometres long was presented.
