President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council of the country. Chairwoman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, deputy chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law-enforcement agencies, governors of provinces and Ashgabat took part in it. At the meeting, it was considered a series of issues related to the projects of several documents, priority tasks of dynamic development of economy, directions of home and foreign policy of the country as well as other issues of state life.
In the course of joint meeting, deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Gochiyev reported about state of affairs in the supervised sphere as well as on activity, being carried out on preparation of the drafts worked out in accordance with “State Program of privatization of the enterprises, facilities of state property of Turkmenistan until 2013-2016”.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov reported about activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, fulfillment of earlier instructions of the head of state on activization of international cooperation, world popularization of successes attained by Turkmenistan. Vice-premier also informed about measures, being taken on opening in the provinces of the representative offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country taking into account increasing number of foreign guests and businessmen, arriving in our country.
As a whole, having approved this proposal, the head of state demanded to conduct relevant works in this direction with the municipalities of the provinces.
In the course of the meeting, the head of state was informed about activity of national parliament on further improvement of legislative basis of the country. It was informed about planned solemnities on the occasion of significant dates in the life of the country and other cultural and mass events in the capital and in National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. It was delivered a report on measures, being taken on strengthening of logistics and provision of high organizational level of activity of resort sphere of the country.
It was sounded the information about undertaken measures on improvement of activity of agro-industrial sector and active involvement in this direction of the entrepreneurs, measures on development of the sphere of railroad transport of Turkmenistan, preparation for opening ceremony of modern trade center in National Tourist Zone “Avaza” as well as for the commencement ceremony of construction of cottage complex planned to be erected by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Officer of Presidential Machinery of Turkmenistan and Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdyliyev reported about state of affairs in the supervised structures as well as about fulfillment earlier instructions of the head of state. In particular, vice-premier informed about activity on study and analysis of applications and addresses from citizens and taking relevant measures in this connection.
Having listened to the report, the head of state demanded jointly with relevant structures to analyze the addresses from citizens, having studied in detail the proposals put forward in them, execute the tasks proceeding from them.
Then, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in Chief of Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov listened to general report of the secretary of State Security Council, Minister of National Security Y. Berdiyev on behalf of the heads of military and law-enforcement agencies, participating in the meeting.
In particular, it was informed about fulfillment of earlier instructions of the head of state on strengthening of logistics of Armed Forces of the country, modernization of the activity of military and law-enforcement agencies.
Having listened to the reports of governors of the provinces and Ashgabat about current affairs in the regions of the country, issues connected with important trends of social and industrial development of the capital, the nation leader particularly focused attention on major trends of socio-economic development of the country, undertaken measures on further increase of social and living level of the population.
The head of state also gave several instructions on construction in the vilayet centers of multilevel parkings, construction in every province of passenger motor terminals, solution jointly with relevant structures of issues proceeding in the course of development of essential projects.
Completing the meeting, the head of state wished the participants sound health, family welfare and great successes in the activity aimed at further prosperity of our Motherland.
