The opening ceremony of a new tourism infrastructure facility in the Avaza national tourism zone - the shopping centre built on the seashore of the Caspian Sea at the request of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations - took place with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
A total area of the shopping centre is over 40,000 square metres, of which 15,000 square metres are covered by green recreation areas. There are the public garden, a number of fountains, the parking garage for 60 vehicles and the car park for vehicles of holidaymakers on the adjacent territory.
The Chairperson of Mejlis, Vice Premiers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments and velayat khyakims gathered together at the entrance to the shopping centre to participate in the opening ceremony. Among the ceremony participants there were the ambassadors of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, representatives of public organisations, mass media and other guests.
