President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Pakistan Mr. Tassaduk Hussain, who terminated his work in Turkmenistan as the head of diplomatic mission of his country.
Within the framework of meeting, it was held the interested view exchange on wide spectrum of issues of interstate interaction. Confidential and mutually respectful dialogue at the high level, as well as closeness or coincidence of positions of two states on several significant aspects of international life directly serves for its steady consolidation. As it was noted, all these factors attached more efficient nature to the dialogue of Turkmenistan and Pakistan, which are partners, including within the framework of the largest international organizations.
Haying noted that vivid evidence of this fact is the scale construction project of transnational Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline initiated by the Turkmen party, the Ambassador of Pakistan determined high interest of his country in soonest practical realization of this important project for whole region.
Having emphasized mutual interest of the parties in diversification of joint efforts aimed at fuller opening of available solid potential of mutually beneficial partnership, the President of Turkmenistan and his guest emphasized the role of joint intergovernmental commission, functioning since 2009, which activity allowed within these years expanding considerably the frames of traditional Turkmen-Pakistani dialogue.
Having highly appreciated the huge personal contribution of Mr. Tassaduk Hussain to the field of strengthening of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, the head of state wished happiness and successes to the Ambassador.
