President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received President of General Electric Power & Water for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mr. Ricardo Cordoba. Chairman of the Board of Governors of the group of companies Çalik Holding Ahmet Chalik attended the meeting.
The sides exchanged views on the opportunities to expand mutually beneficial partnership in the framework of the plans on modernization of energy infrastructure of Turkmenistan through the use of advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment. In particular, the draft projects of the combined-cycle plant and the training centre for training energy specialists developed by General Electric was presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
