President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the resolution in accordance with which hakims of five vilayets of the country and city Ashgabat are assigned to transfer sports projects under their supervision including those ones under construction to the state sports committee of Turkmenistan. The given action has arisen out of necessity to give a significant impulse for development of the national sports movement in general, will enable purposefully and more efficiently use the sports infrastructures in vilayets.
There are many examples for the fact that namely in regions highly qualified sportsmen are prepared and they represent our country in various competitions including in international tournaments worthily. For example, the World Junior Olympiad which has been given start in Nankin of the PRC recently one of the representatives of our team Sohbet Tirkishov has won an honor fourth place in weight lifting in weight class up to 62 kilograms. In snatch the Turkmen sportsman could lift 115 kg and in clean and jerk 137 kg, ending his performance with the total sum of snatch, clean and jerk combination of 252 kg.

By the way from tens of representatives of men’s national team of Turkmenistan in weight lifting, seven are residents of Sakarchage. The most legendary Turkmen weightlifter Altymyrat Orazdurdyev was born and achieved his first sports victories in Sakarchage etrap.
Lebap, the eastern vilayet of our country is boasts with its wrestlers. In the junior Olympiad in free wrestling in the weight class up to 100 kg Muhammet Rozykuliyev performs.
The sporting excellence of this young Turkmen wrestler fully revealed the capacity of the sports school built in the past years in the etrap of Galkynysh. So far as M.Rozykuliyev is winner of the wrestling championship of Turkmenistan as well as a bronze prizewinner of the championship of the county among men.
On the wrestling mat in Nankin Muhammet will perform on August 27 to compete with his opponents from different countries.
It should be noted that in the junior Olympiad thee sportsmen from Turkmenistan will perform and two of them practiced this sports in the etrap sports circles. Now when in all over the country there have erected hundreds of modern sports facilities, complexes, halls and grounds as well as specialized sports schools, the number of young and promising Turkmen sportsmen increasingly grows.
Specialists of the state sports committee of Turkmenistan, which will own all sports projects of the country, have developed a special program of the seminar –meeting “Coordination of work of sports schools and facilities in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state” which will become a manual for action for coaches and leading sportsmen from five vilayets and city Ashgabat.
The program includes such important issues as mass attraction of the youth to sports, training of sportsmen for the V Asian Games and Indoor Martial Arts s well as for other international tournaments, efficient use of modern sports equipment and many others.
Similar seminars-meetings have been already held in administrative centers of Lebap and Mary vilayets. On August 22 and 23 in discussion of issues of coordination of work of sports schools and other sports facilities will take part Ashgabat coaches and sportsmen. Further, such seminars –meetings will be held in sports circles of Akhal, Balkan and Dashoguz regions.
