President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Gaoli, who had arrived in the Turkmen capital leading the representative delegation of his country to take part in the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Chinese Committee for Cooperation.
Underlining the huge potential of cooperation, which satisfies the priorities of the social and economic development of the two stats, the Turkmen leader and his guest emphasized the significant role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Chinese Committee for Cooperation.
It was noted that the agenda of the regular meeting included a wide range of issues for enhancing partnership in the trade and economic, oil and gas, transport and communication spheres, energy, construction, and finance sectors, textile and chemical industries, etc. Particular attention will be paid to developing humanitarian cooperation, including science, education, culture, sports, and tourism.
