Within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Belarus, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, who had arrived in Ankara to attend the ceremony of inauguration of newly elected President of Turkey.
The prospects of the Turkmen-Belarus cooperation within agreements achieved earlier were discussed during the meeting. The trade, economic, transport spheres, engineering industry, agriculture, processing and chemical industries, construction, and other areas were specified among the key sectors of cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the progress in implementing the joint project on construction of the Garlyk ore-dressing and processing enterprise for production of potash fertilizers in Koytendag Etrap, Lebap Velayat.
