President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Organization Shamil Aleskerov, who was invited as honorable guest for the High-level International Conference held in Ashgabat and devoted to the role of transport and transit corridors in ensuring international cooperation and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the meeting held in business and constructive clue, it was discussed the possibilities of activization of multi-aspect cooperation in several vital directions for the region, particularly in the field of creation of modern transport infrastructure and new transit corridors as well as underlined its extremely perspective nature taking into account giant economic and resource potential of Turkmenistan and its increasing role in the system of world economic ties.
