President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received letters of credence from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic in Turkmenistan Mr. Marco Mancini.
The diplomat conveyed the heartfelt greetings of the President and Prime Minister of his country to the Turkmen leader, noting that cooperation with Turkmenistan conformed to the foreign policy strategy of Italy and the interests of the European Union as a whole.
Congratulating Marco Mancini on the appointment to the high diplomatic post, the Turkmen leader expressed his best wishes and an invitation to visit Turkmenistan to the leadership of Italy.
