President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Mr. Myung Soo Ahn who was completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.

A lively exchange of views on the whole spectrum of interstate cooperation, which is continuously strengthened thanks to an effective high level dialogue, took place during the meeting. This is evidenced by the important bilateral agreements that the leaders of the two countries invariably achieve during top-level talks. The talks between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye, who paid a state visit to Turkmenistan, held in June this year resulted in signing the impressive package of documents designed to strengthen the legal framework of Turkmen-Korean cooperation.

Commending the contribution that Ambassador Myung Soo Ahn had made to foster and build up fruitful economic and trade, cultural and humanitarian cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and their friendly peoples, the Turkmen leader wished the Korean diplomat continued success in his diplomatic career.
