President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Mustafa Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu.
Emphasis was placed on the need to establish closer economic and trade contacts between government agencies and businesses of Turkmenistan and Turkey. The sides were unanimous that regular business meetings, forums, commodities fairs and exhibitions facilitated this process.
The report on the implementation of the projects entrusted to Turkish companies in various sectors, including the agro-industrial sector which is a major segment of Turkmen economy, was presented to the Turkmen leader.
Noting that Turkey’s business circles were greatly interested in building up fruitful partnership, the guest presented new proposals on partnership that had ample opportunities and prospects to continue in the context of the ambitious economic reforms launched by the national leader.
