President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which a number of important issues of the domestic policy and draft documents were considered. They reported on the work on the optimization of activities of financial and banking institutions and the complex measures taken to ensure the progressive development of Turkmen economy. The information on the preparations for the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Moldova to our country scheduled for April 6-8 and the visit of the government delegation of Turkmenistan led by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Korea scheduled for April 11-14 was presented. The report on the preparations for the fifth meeting of Intergovernmental Turkmenistan-Korea Commission for trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation, which will be held on April 10 in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, was presented. The information on the legislative activities of deputies of the national Parliament was presented. The report on on-going agricultural activities was presented. The report on the preparations for the events scheduled for this month, including the celebrations in honour of the national holidays “A Drop of Water – A Grain of Gold” and Turkmen Horse Day and the international construction exhibition and conference, which will take place in Ashgabat on April 8-10, was presented. The reports on the activities of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, the current situation at the subdivisions of the fuel and energy, industrial, transport and telecommunications sectors were presented. The information on the international conference on the 2017 Asian Games and the role of Turkmenistan in sport for peace and prosperity, taking place in the capital of Turkmenistan these days, was presented. The report on the progress in implementing the plan of actions in the etraps of Ashgabat for 2015 focused on the measures taken to consider the petitions from citizens of the country. The President approved the Regulations on the compilation and maintenance of the Uniform State Road Register and the Regulations on the assignment of identification numbers to motor roads with the view to enforce the Law of Turkmenistan on Motor Road and Road Activities. The President issued the Order approving the membership of the jury of the International Horse Beauty Contest and the organization of thematic contests among cultural and art workers. Other issues were discussed and the decisions were adopted during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
