President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany in Turkmenistan Mr. Helmut Wolfgang Brett, who was completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

Exchanging views on the status and prospects of cooperation that successfully developed in bilateral and multilateral level, in particular within authoritative international organisations and agencies, the Turkmen leader and the plenipotentiary representative of the Federal Republic of Germany expressed satisfaction with the high level of Turkmen-German relations developing in the political, cultural and humanitarian spheres, particularly in the health sector and medical industry, where the profound positive experience of joint work was accumulated in recent years.

Confirming the commitments of the two countries in diversifying interstate relations, the Turkmen leader and his guest identified the economic sector, science, education, culture and many other sectors as priority areas of cooperation.

In conclusion, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany once again expressed deep gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the support and assistance provided during all these years that had contributed to his successful work as the head of the diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
