In a solemn atmosphere President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cut the ribbon and entered the new office building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The building owner is the Executive Department of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the contractor is the well-known French company Bouygues Batiment International. The office building occupies a total area of over 56,600 square metres. The facade is faced in white marble, glass and other materials in accordance with modern aesthetic requirements. The main entrance is decorated with the vitrage golden lattice with traditional ornament.

The Turkmen leader passed through the foyer to the exhibition hall of the new office building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, designed to be one of the centres of foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition hall occupies a total area of over 8,200 square metres and has the height of 13 metres. It can be the venue for a high-level exhibition or a conference. Its areas and podiums allow holding fashion shows and concerts, performances and other cultural events and a large-scale forum with up to 4,000 participants.

There are several pavilions and stands installed on the exhibition area. Domestic printed products were displayed in one of the pavilions on the day of the opening ceremony.

The core of the new office building is the exhibition area. Each year Turkmenistan hosts dozens of international exhibitions in key areas of economic and social development. It gives Turkmen and foreign manufacturers and long-term and potential partners of our country a great opportunity to showcase new products and services, expand business contacts, conclude profitable contracts and find prospective investors. The exhibitions provide a platform for international congresses, conferences and seminars with the agenda spotlighting the priority objectives of economic development in the context of global trends.

The outdoor exhibition areas designed for large dimensional exhibits, including machines, special vehicles, production units and equipment cover an area of 10,000 square metres.

The conference hall impresses with the laconic design and the exquisite style of traditional Turkmen ornaments. State-of-the-art technical facilities, monitors and acoustic equipment are installed in the conference hall which will be the venue for conferences, symposia, seminars and workshops. Along with the conference hall for 600 delegates, the new office building has the conference hall for 50 delegates and the premises for business meetings, presentations and other events.

The office building houses the press centre supplied with modern equipment, where favourable working conditions are created for 200 media representatives, including journalists, press photographer and television reporters who will cover exhibitions, meetings and other events held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The printing house, located in the new office building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will produce top quality printed products, using modern equipment and technology.
