On the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairwoman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan A. Nurberdiyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Bulgaria in Turkmenistan Mrs. Maya Hristova.
On behalf of the head of Turkmen state, the head of National Parliament congratulated the guest on appointment to the responsible diplomatic post, having wished successes in the field of strengthening of traditional ties of friendship and activization of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria.
In the course of the talk, the ambassador plenipotentiary was informed about major trends of home and foreign policy, being pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Its success was conditioned with ranking of Turkmenistan among more dynamically developing world countries. In particular, special emphasis was made on large-scale national projects and programs, being realized in our country. Their main goal is the improvement of quality of life of the residents of Turkmenistan.
The diplomat was also familiarized in detail with structure and legislative activity of the Turkmen Parliament.
Having shown huge interest in progressive reformations, taking place in independent Turkmenistan, Mrs. Maya Hristova underlined that it is great honor for her to represent her country in the state, which gained within the short period of time impressive successes in socio-economic and cultural development. As ambassador plenipotentiary of Bulgaria noted, economic interaction of many years and friendship of the Turkmen and Bulgarian people serve a powerful foundation for further deepening of full-scale dialogue of two countries.
While view exchange on development prospects of the Turkmen-Bulgarian relations, among priority trends it was mentioned the partnership in oil and gas sector, in the field of construction, where a large experience of cooperation, as well as in scientific-educational and cultural spheres, tourism.
In conclusion of the meeting, it was expressed mutual striving for activization of constructive interstate dialogue in all trends, including in development of inter-Parliamentary ties.
