President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where it was considered the drafts of several documents, as well as vital issues of the state life.
In the course of the reports of deputy chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, it was informed about preparation of solemnities and cultural events devoted to the national and international holidays, being celebrated in June, as well as inaugurations of the socio-cultural facilities.
It was delivered a report about measures undertaken on further diversification and modernization of productive potential of the industrial sector of national economy.
It was informed about results of the fourth meeting of Intergovernmental Turkmen- Ukrainian Commission on economic cooperation held in Ashgabat and preparation process for the first meeting of Intergovernmental Turkmen- Hungarian Commission on economic cooperation, which is planned to be held on June 3-4 of the current year in Ashgabat.
There was an information about results of realized work with a view of successful fulfilment of tasks outlined in “State Program of privatization in Turkmenistan of enterprises and facilities of state ownership within 2013-2016” approved with Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan from January 11, 2013.
It was also informed about regular meeting of the State Commission for extraordinary situations of Turkmenistan, where it was considered a series of issues related to provision of fire safety at the industrial and civil facilities, in zones of forest plantations, using of ecologically safe building materials and others. In the course of report on realization of Plan of works on complex development of Ashgabat, it was informed that it is undertaken the measures on regulation of road traffic in the capital, formation of modern transport system. It was noted that reconstruction of dwelling houses and accomplishment of adjoining territories to them is also carried out actively.
Officials of the regions reported about readiness for organized and operative holding of wheat harvesting campaign, undertaken measures on successful realization of the National Program on village reformation.
It was also informed about preparation for Elders’ Council, which will be held in this year in Balkan province, upcoming Week of Culture in Lebap province, plan of events to be held on the occasion of proclamation in 2015 of Mary city as cultural capital of the Turkic world.
There was an information about further activity of National Parliament on improvement of Constitution of the country, realization of decisions of the meeting of Constitutional Commission held under chairmanship of the head of state.
In the course of the meeting, the head of state signed a series of documents, including the Regulations on use of electric and heat energy, Regulations on provision of power supply networks, Order of exploitation and keeping of common property in block of flats.
The head of state also signed a Resolution related to the participation of exposition of Turkmenistan in the review to be held in Republic of Turkey. It is a regular 84th International Izmir Fair to be held from August 28 to September 6 of the current year, and World Botanic Exhibition “EXPO-2016 Antalya”, which will take place in next year from April 23 to October 30, its topic – “Flowers and children”. The President of Turkmenistan gave the instructions concerning provision of high level of events, which will be organized on the occasion of celebration in our country on the last Sunday of May of the Turkmen Carpet Day.
The head of state ordered to start the grain harvesting campaign in Akhal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary provinces on June 3, and in Dashoguz province – on June 14.
The head of state charged to work out a program of creation of new enterprises for production of various electronics. Having accentuated attention on training of specialists for work in this sector, the head of state gave relevant instruction to submit proposals on this matter. Draft of this Program will be considered and approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on results of six months.
At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, it was also considered some other issues of state life and relevant decisions were made in this regard.
