“At all times, our people have paid particular attention to bringing healthy younger generation personifying the best personal qualities – sincerity, decency, aspiration for deep fundamental knowledge. Following the wise national traditions that serve as a foundation of the unity and cohesion of a society, we also pay significant attention to bringing well-educated, spiritually rich and physically strong generation, which is to increase the glory and authority of the Fatherland”, said the President.
“Happy young citizens of the country is a supreme wealth and guarantee of the successive development of a society. Our main task is to make everything so that our children live happy life, improve their skills and talents, grow up strong, healthy, honourable people and become competent specialists”, noted the Turkmen leader.
Following the key principle of the Basic Law of Turkmenistan that proclaims a person the crucial treasure of the society and state, we pay close attention to creation of the most favourable social conditions for happy and prosperous life of people and take care about the happy future of younger generation. We will continue implementing large-scale reforms aimed at cultivating in youth love for the Motherland, humanity, friendship and morality, brining physically, intellectually, spiritually strong younger generation so that the Motherland is perceived as a country of happy childhood, where the most cherished dreams come true”, said the President.
“Grandiose in its scales construction of modern preschool institutions, schools and higher educational institutions supplied with the most advanced equipment, interactive and multimedia technologies and connected to Internet as well as art centers, sports and health-improving facilities, parks and recreation places has launched in Ashgabat, administrative centres, etraps, cities and villages. Computers are awarded to first-graders each year on occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. All these measures vividly demonstrate that our state takes concern about comprehensive and harmonious development of younger generation in the country.
Our country affirming the principles of peace, friendship and goodwill pays particular attention to consolidation of efforts and widen cooperation with the world community, first of all, within the UN and other authoritative international organizations in the spheres of health, education and protection of women’s and children’s rights.
Turkmenistan accedes to a number of basic international acts in this sphere. Our country actively cooperates with the UN Children’s Fund implementing joint projects with the aim to ensure comprehensive development of younger generation, increase their living standards as well as improve the spheres of education and health-care and popularize the principles of healthy life-style in the country”, said the President of Turkmenistan in his address.
