President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov hold a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, the leaders of the two states discussed important aspects of interstate cooperation and the issues of international and regional policy.
The leaders of the two countries specified development of cooperation in the fuel and energy sector as an important vector of the bilateral relations. Underlining that at present, our countries have successfully carried out works on the bilateral basis, the leaders of the states spotlighted a number of joint large-scale projects as a bright example of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The leader of the Turkmen state also invited the President of Turkey to participate in the International conference on the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality that will be held in Ashgabat in December this year.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that construction of a mosque in Kunya Urgench Etrap in Dashoguz Velayat with participation of Turkish partners would strengthen spiritual relations between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
