President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed the two-day state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.
As was reported, the mutual willingness of the two friendly countries to develop and enhance full-scale cooperation at the long-term mutually beneficial basis. That is vividly proved by top-level agreements and the solid package of documents signed during the meeting in Bishkek, which were designed to significantly expand bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in the trade and economic sphere and humanitarian and cultural area.
In the morning, leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev visited the Memorial complex on the Victory Square in the historical centre of Bishkek.
Paying tribute to the memory of courageous heroes of the Kyrgyz people, the President of Turkmenistan laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.
Upon completion of the ceremony, the motorcade of the leaders of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan headed to the Manas-2 International Airport in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The leaders of the states noted that the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic had opened up a new important chapter in the history of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations and expressed belief in that the agreements achieved on the outcomes of the top-level talks would reach its practical implementation and enhance mutually beneficial partnership.
