The information on the preparations for an official visit of Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov in Ashgabat, scheduled for August 24-25, was presented. The report on the preparations for an official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, scheduled for August 27, was presented. Top-level bilateral talks are expected to result in signing a number of important documents.
The information on the preparations for a meeting of the Elders’ Council, which will take place in Avaza Etrap in Turkmenbashi town, Balkan Velayat on September 10, was presented. 3,000 delegates are expected to participate in the meeting.
The Turkmen leader signed the Resolution approving the Regulations on the licensing of insurance activities and the Regulations on the licensing of professional activity in the securities market. The new documents are prepared in compliance with the provisions of the Laws of Turkmenistan on Insurance and on the Securities Market, international standards and the specific features of the national economy. The Turkmen leader signed the Resolution approving the procedures for road passenger and luggage transportation.
It was noted that 23 secondary schools and 10 preschool institutions would be put into operation to mark Day of Knowledge and Students. The opening ceremony of the new building complex of A. Kekilov School of Pedagogy, shopping centre, multi-storey car park and children’s auto city will take place in Ashgabat on September 1.
The celebrations will be held in the Avaza national tourism zone in the framework of the ceremony of awarding winners in the President’s art contest Turkmenin Altyn Asyr and conferring the honorary titles to cultural and art workers. The opening ceremonies of the building complex of the Congress Centre, sports centre, luxury hotels and other facilities will be held there in early September. The opening ceremony of a sturgeon farm in Turkmenbashi Etrap in Balkan Velayat will be held.
The report on the progress of seasonal agricultural activities was presented. The pace of the winter wheat sowing campaign that started in all the regions of the country on August 19 is accelerated. Rural workers are engaged in laying out agricultural fields and applying fertilizers. They are actively preparing for the cotton campaign: ‘white gold’ will be delivered to 155 procurement stations and 39 ginneries throughout the country. In total, 3,027 vehicles, 2,340 tractors and 3,558 tractor-trailers are be used to deliver raw cotton from cotton fields.

The President relieved G. Saryev from his office and appointed Deputy Minister of Energy D. Rejepov Minister of Energy and signed the relevant documents.

The Turkmen leader assigned the responsibility for monitoring the on-going construction work in Ashgabat, including construction work on facilities for the Asian Games and the beatification of the city, to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdylyev. The Turkmen leader said that Ashgabat must be ready to host the Asian Games by the summer of 2016.
Focusing on the progress of construction work in newly established Tyaze Zaman village, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov suggested establishing the administrative centre near the village, increasing the number of citizens in the village and bringing the standard of living in the village to that of urban areas. The Turkmen leader instructed to define the status of the new town and its name and establish the administrative centre in Derveze Etrap.
