State news agency of Turkmenistan informs that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working trip in Balkan province, has taken part in cycle race on highways of Turkmenbashi.
Cycle race started from the location of a huge flagstaff on crossing of Berkarar and Oguzhan Avenues of Avaza etrap of Turkmenbashi city. Vice-chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and sectoral departments, embassies and consulates of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, social organizations, governors of provinces and Ashgabat have taken part in the cycle race.
Column of participants of bicycle race at the head of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has passed 3280 meters and finished at new sports complex erected in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” and ready for solemn opening.
Personal participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the present mass action attaches special status to the event and is the regular contribution to health and sports movement in the country, support of development of cycle racing.
