President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on the military discharge from the Armed Forces and other military services of Turkmenistan and the call of citizens of Turkmenistan to military service.
According to this document, in October-December 2015, the servicemen, who served terms fixed by the law in the Armed Forces and other troops of Turkmenistan, will be transferred to the reserve. In accordance with the Decree, the male citizens of Turkmenistan, who are 18 by conscription day and have no right for deferment from conscription, and citizens of older age, who have lost a right for deferment from conscription, will be called up for military service in October-December 2015.
