On occasion of the 24th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the President of Turkmenistan issued the Decree on conferring the state awards to the workers of the sphere of education for their contribution to enlightening younger generation, inculcating the love for the Motherland in youth, for their merits to independent Turkmenistan and native people.

In accordance with the Decree, “Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söýgüsi üçin” order and “Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin” medal were awarded to a number of teachers of the higher educational institutions in Turkmenistan.

The President of Turkmenistan also signed the Resolution on conferring the anniversary award “Nusgawy türkmen şahyry Magtymguly Pyragynyň 290 ýyllygy” to the workers of culture, art, science and education.
