Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation held the tenth session. A number of draft laws and legal acts developed were put on the agenda of the session. The representatives of the ministries and agencies concerned and the media attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the deputies of the national parliament considered the draft Laws "On amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to the Criminal Code of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On notary office and notarial activity", "On Amendments to the Customs Code of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to the Housing Code of Turkmenistan" and "On amendments and additions to the Family Code of Turkmenistan", "On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan "On protection of the ozone layer".

Turkmen parliamentarians also discussed the drafts of Resolutions of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan "On accession to the Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol adopted at Nairobi on September 26, 1981”, "On ratification of the Statute of the International Atomic Energy Agency," "On accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs" and "On ratification of the Agreement on the cooperation on hydrometeorology of the Caspian Sea".

The draft law considered during the tenth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation were approved and adopted.
