At the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, it was held the awarding ceremony of Prime minister of Japan Sindzo Abe with title of the Honorable professor of this higher educational establishment.
Opening this solemn ceremony, the rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly G. Hanmyradov on behalf of all gathered participants warmly greeted the high guest, having underlined that today will enter into history of higher educational establishment as especially significant event. As it was noted, at present, the relations between Turkmenistan and Japan reached new level of development. Cooperation between our countries becomes more and more multilateral and fruitful, including in scientific-educational sphere as well.
It is sounded the decision of the Higher Attestation Committee of Turkmenistan on assignment to the Prime Minister of Japan Sindzo Abe of the title “Honorable Professor of Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly” for huge personal contribution to the strengthening of friendly relations between Turkmen and Japanese people, development of trade-economic relations between two countries, expansion of cooperation in fuel and energy, scientific-technological, educational and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Under a burst of applauses of the ceremony participants, the rector of University dresses the head of the Japanese government in national Turkmen don and white telpek and hands over the corresponding diploma.
Making a speech before participants, the Prime minister of Japan Sindzo Abe, having expressed gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov as well as leadership of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly for honor - assignment of the title of the Honorable professor of one of leading Turkmen higher educational establishments, has noticed that estimates it as another sign of consolidating ties of friendship and fruitful cooperation between people of two countries.
In the evening, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov in honor of the Prime minister of Japan gave an official dinner, where the leaders of two countries exchanged speeches.

Same day, the spouse of Prime minister of Japan Sindzo Abe - Mrs. Akie Abe, accompanying him during official visit to our country, has visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Here, the high guest has familiarized with an exposition of museum of higher educational institution as well as met with students of IIR, Turkmen National Institute of World languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi, which has the department of Japanese language, International University of the Humanities and Development and Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi.
For the spouse of the Prime minister of Japan, it was organized the cultural program, which included the acquaintance with sights of capital, including the visit of the National Turkmen Carpet Museum.
Along with it, Mrs. Akie Abe has visited capital’s Shopping centre “Altyn asyr”, offering wide assortment of products of the Turkmen textile industry to buyers as well as carpet-weaving branch. Having especially noted high quality of carpet and textile products, Mrs. Akie Abe with pleasure purchased one of remarkable Turkmen carpets.
The spouse of the Prime minister of Japan also had an opportunity to visit new, opened in summer of this year in Ashgabat, Scientific-clinical Centre of Mother and Child health Protection. Having familiarized with the medical centre, Mrs. Akie Abe appreciated its up-to-date equipment and conditions created here, allowing to render to patients all spectrum of relevant medical services at level of high international standards.
