President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Jalchyn Topchu and head of the Turkish broadcasting company ТRT Shenol Gyoka.

In the course of the meeting, it was held a view exchange on prospects of mutually beneficial partnership taking into account available enormous potential. Having noted with satisfaction the fruitfulness of the cultural contacts, which is an integral part of interstate dialogue, the head of Turkmenistan and his guests have discussed priority tasks on study, preservation and augmentation of the general cultural values of the Turkmen and Turkish people. Having outlined a number of concrete steps on activization of ties, the nation leader and Minister of culture of Turkey have underlined importance of organization on a regular basis of joint events with participation of well-known workers of culture and arts of two countries, including the Days of Culture, musical and theatrical festivals, joint concerts, exhibitions of graphic and applied art, etc. It was also emphasized the significance of cooperation in the area of mass media.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Turkmenistan Mustafa Kapucu took part in the meeting.
