President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Ervand Zakharyan, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in a regular session of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission on economic cooperation.
The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged their views on the status and prospects for enhancing the efficient partnership in a number of key areas, including the trade and economy, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of intensifying cooperation in the spheres of science and energy, industrial sector and agriculture.
In conclusion of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia expressed belief in that the relations between the two states built on the principles of trust and mutual benefit would successfully develop.
