President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the construction sites in the capital city. The Turkmen leader visited the five-star Arcabil Hotel and reviewed the progress in preparing for the celebrations in honour of the 20th anniversary of neutrality of the Motherland.
The sixteen-storey hotel building is located on Archabil Avenue in the south of the capital city. All the works on the facility were performed by the Tyaze Jay construction company – a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The Arcabil Hotel has 148 rooms, including 22 double rooms and 47 single rooms of the classical design, 14 double rooms and 30 single rooms of the modern design, 33 suites and 2 VIP rooms.
The banquet hall for 350 guests, the restaurants, including the restaurant with the observation deck on the 16th floor, a lobby bar and a SPA-salon with the swimming pool, sauna, hammam, massage rooms, salt room, vitamin bar and gym with fitness equipment and outdoor swimming pool that offer a wide range of fitness and recreation procedures are at the guests’ disposal. The car park for 120 cars is located on the adjacent territory.
The spacious conference hall equipped with the latest technologies is designed to host international forums. It also houses a restaurant that will provide catering services for event participants. The business centre with the small conference room, Internet cafes and other facilities is located on the third floor.
The Arcabil Hotel offers its guests favourable conditions for sports activities: along with the fitness room, a number of sports fields, including tennis, volleyball and basketball courts and mini-football fields are located on the area adjacent to the Arcabil Hotel.
Trees and shrubs are planted on the territory adjacent to the building complex. Crystal jets of fountains sparkle on both sides of the stairs leading to the main entrance.
When visiting the Arcabil Hotel building complex, the Turkmen leader talked to the specialists from the reception and registration department about their working conditions and salaries and the conditions created at the hotel to provide high quality services to visitors.
The President headed for the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry where the Turkmen leader reviewed the plans for the organization and staging of the celebrations in honour of the 20th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan and the social and economic development projects.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the Chairperson of Mejlis, the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and the high-ranking officials of military and law enforcement agencies at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The agenda of the meeting covered the preparations for the celebrations in honour of the 20th anniversary of neutrality of the Motherland, the programme of cultural events and the main aspects of further development of the capital city.
Noting that the work carried out by all high-ranking officials involved should be well coordinated, the President gave the floor to the Organizing Committee members responsible for coordinating the preparatory works on the anniversary celebrations and instructed them to organize the anniversary celebrations and festive events in a proper manner.
