President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which Deputy Chairmen reported on the current situation in the spheres under their supervision. The results of the week were analyzed, the important issues of the domestic policy were discussed and the preparations for the coming important events were considered.
The State News Agency (TDH) reports that the preparations for the official visit of the government delegation of our country led by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Islamic Republic of Iran and participation in the Summit of Heads of States – Gas Exporting Countries Forum were discussed during the meeting.
The information on the Turkmen-Malaysian Business Forum in Kuala Lumpur on November 25 and the Days of German Economy in Turkmenistan scheduled for November 26 was presented. Moreover, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in the Turkish Republic on November 30 – December 4.
The volumes and paces of the construction and investment activities in the country were analyzed. As was reported, up to date, construction of 452 facilities and buildings has been completed and 370 facilities are under construction.
Reporting on the work held by the Turkmenhimiya State Concern, it was informed on the measures taken to create new processing enterprises at the Turkmenmineral Production Association in Magdanly.
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan signed the document on exporting grain produced domestically to foreign markets through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The document on completion of the construction of the locomotive depot at the Bereket station of the Gyzylgaya-Bereket-Etrek railway and putting it into operation in March, 2017.
