Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on an official visit in Islamic Republic of Iran, has met with President of Republic of Iraq Fuad Masum within the framework of participation in the Summit of heads of the states-gas exporters.

In the course of the meeting, the interested exchange of opinions on prospects of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats has taken place. Interlocutors have expressed a striving for development of interstate dialogue in trade-economic sphere and noted importance of cultural-humanitarian interaction.

Heads of two states have exchanged views on pressing issues of regional and international subjects as well.
